The International Road Victims Partnership [https://www.irvp.org/] seminar commenced today at the Bloomfield Hotel in Mullingar, the three day event began with some of the early arriving delegates attending workshops and Demos organised by I.R.V.A [www.irvp.org]. One such demonstration was the Road Traffic Collision rescue scenario which was showcased by Mullingar Fire & Rescue Service in conjunction with Rescue Organisation Ireland. The demo displayed the multiple skill base required to exercise a good extrication rescue. Following the demo there was time for a Q & A session which allowed delegates interact with the fire service personnel and get a better understanding from a rescuers perspective.

Rescue Organisation Ireland would like to thank Westmeath Fire and Rescue Sevice, In particular the Chief Fire officer, senior officers and Station officer Paul McLoughlin and the Mullingar Fire & Rescue Service for their hospitality and assistance over the last number of days....hopefully we will have further interactions going forward.
